The first Gropp Electric was formed by Art Gropp in 1986 after selling his previously successful business, Art's Electric. Art built both businesses on the belief that the service the customer receives today will be the reward of tomorrow. In 1994 Art's son, Scott, created Gropp Heating, Air & Electric. Scott shared his father's belief that customer service is the heart of a successful business; consequently, he did everything it took to ensure his customer's satisfaction.
In 1999, after more than forty years on his own, Art sold his electrical contracting business to Scott's HVAC company, and the current Gropp Heating, Air & Electric was formed.
Customer service remains our number one focus and is reflected by our large customer base. Our philosophy on customer service rings as strong and true today as it did in the beginning. We at Gropp Heating, Air & Electric believe that the completion of a project is merely the beginning of a relationship that, through honesty and integrity, will last for years to come.
Gropp Heating, Air & Electric is pleased to offer a wide range of products and services to our clients. We provide all phases of commercial, industrial, and residential HVAC and electrical, including new construction, remodels, service, maintenance, retrofits, design-build, and plan and spec projects. Over the course of a day, our jobs range from changing light bulbs or replacing fixtures to installing the electrical service for a new commercial structure. We also offer the installation of telecommunications and hydronic heating.
